Description

Western North Carolina was home to many Grant families, almost all of whom were related to each other (whether they knew it or not.) I have documented the family of William and Mary Grant who came to Rutherford County, North Carolina from Virginia before the Revolutionary War. They are the ancestors of a huge number of Grants who settled in various parts of Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee as well as many other states.

The book was so large that I had to either take out some information or split it into two volumes. I chose to go with two volumes instead so as not to leave anything out. The complete index is in Vol. 2. If ordering online be sure to order both volumes as they are two separate items that must be added to your shopping cart. (The prices listed above are for both volumes.)
