My Barnes LineageHome > Genealogy > Surnames > Barnes > My Barnes Lineage My earliest known Barnes ancestor is Mary "Molsey" Barnes (c1792) who married James Campbell (1780) ca 1815 in Marion Dist, SC. I suspect, but can not prove that Mary is a daughter of James Barnes (1765/75), though there are other possibilities.
