Welcome to my Cathey web pages! I am interested in all the Catheys in the United States (through ca 1850 for most). My own line lived in Buncombe, Haywood and Jackson Counties, North Carolina and into Union and Towns Co, GA. There is debate about the parents of William Cathey (d 1812), and we may never know for certain.
