Clifton Hensley of Madison Co, VA and Scott and Boone Co, KY

A note about sources

Clifton Hensley married 1797 in Madison Co, VA. He was listed on the 1800 Albemarle Co, VA Taxlist. By 1804 he was in Scott Co, KY. He was listed there in 1810 and 1820 census. By 1830 he was in Boone Co, KY. He was there also in 1840, 1850 and 1860.

His supposed sons Gabriel and John were listed on the same page as he in 1850 census, and William was only a few pages away. I have no absolute proof they are Clifton's sons, but William did name one of his sons "Clifton", so that makes it seem very likely. There was a Manerva age 6 living with Clifton in 1850, I assume she is his granddaughter, but don't know who her parents might have been.
