John Hensley (c1794) of Fauquier Co, VA and Bath Co, KYJohn Hensley was born ca 1794 in VA. He was a War of 1812 soldier. He enlisted from Fauquier Co, VA where he resided at the time. He moved to Bath Co, KY sometime before 1823, for in that year he married Lydia McCullah there. They were listed in Bath Co, KY in 1830, 1840, 1850 and 1860. In 1850, John and Lydia had no children residing with them. There was a family of Hensley's, all about the same age as each other (born 1820's 1830's) listed a few pages away. These could be children of John and Lydia, living seperately for some reason. Since Fauquier Co, VA is next to Culpeper Co, VA, it is possible his family came from there.
