Madison M. Hensley (c1812) of Carter and Boyd Co, KY

Madison M. Hensley was born ca 1812 (in VA per 1850 census, or KY per 1860 census). He was listed on the 1839 Carter Co, KY tax list. I didn't see him there in 1840, unless he is the "Hiram Hensely" listed then. In 1850 he was in Carter Co, Ky census. He apparently lived in the part of Carter that became Boyd County in 1860. He was in Boyd Co, KY in 1860 census. Several of the Hensley's from Lawrence and Greenup Co, KY also fell into Boyd County, KY. They might all be closely related.
