Mary Hensley family of Grayson Co, VAMary "Polly" Hensley, an apparent widow, was listed on the 1850 Grayson Co, VA census with several children. Most of the kids seem to be too young to be hers, but for the sake of keeping the family together, I've listed them as her children. They are probably her grandchildren, and possibly children of Mary's daughter Milly Hensley (c1818). No proof of that though. No member of this family has been located in 1860 except for the child Martin Hensley who was found in Grayson Co, VA still in 1850 with another family. Mary might be the mother of Martin Hensley also of Grayson Co, VA who moved to Keokuk Co, IA by 1860. If she is his mother, then the younger Martin must be her grandson.
