Solomon Hensley family of Cabell and Wayne Co, VA (WV)
A note about sources
Solomon Hensley was born ca 1779 in VA. He moved to what is now Cabell Co, WV
prior to 1820. He was listed in Cabell Co, VA in 1820, 1830, and 1840. In 1842
Wayne County was formed from Cabell, and he must have lived in that part, as he
was listed there in 1850. His widow Elizabeth was listed in Wayne Co, VA (WV) in
1860. I have found no absolute proof that Solomon is the father of Samuel,
Ichabod "Bird", and John Hensley of Cabell Co, VA (WV), but they seem to be his
children.
