Welcome to my Moore web pages! I am interested in all the Moores in Western North Carolina, Upper West South Carolina and North Georgia through ca 1850. I have two different Moore lines of my own in this area:

Line # 1 from VA, Pendleton Dist, SC (now Pickens Co, SC) and Union Co, GA

Burton Moore (1756-1836) and (---) Bruce of Halifax Co, VA and Pendleton Dist, SC

- Joseph Moore (c1787) and Rebecca (---) of SC and Macon Co, NC and Union Co, GA

-- Jane Moore (c1815-1867) and Samuel Patterson of Macon Co, NC and Union Co, GA

Line # 2 from Ireland, Rowan, Burke and Buncombe Co, NC

William H. Moore (1726-1812) and Margaret Patton of Rowan, Burke and Buncombe Co, NC

- Elizabeth Moore (1789-1860) and Benjamin Tutt of Buncombe Co, NC
