The reviews will be alphabetical by author. Some authors
may get their own page when necessary.
Arnold, Edwin L.
- Gulliver of Mars, 1905.
An old book, can't find it for sale today, but very good! If you like Burroughs,
you'll probably like this, though not as good as Burroughs.
Asimov, Isaac
- Before the Golden Age: A Science Fiction Anthology of the 1930s (Book 1)
Edited by Isaac Asimov. This is book one of a three volume set containing several short
stories and novelettes from the 1930's most of which were not written
by Asimov. All of the stories are good, some are
fantastic! In between the stories, Asimov gives an autobiography of his
childhood years and his exposure to these and other stories. You'll probably
have to buy a used copy of these books, I did (they were in pretty good shape
for their age).
- Before the Golden Age Book 2

- Before
the Golden Age Book 3

- The Naked Sun, 1957.
This was the first Asimov book I ever read (2005) and I found it quite good.
I'll certainly read more when possible. When I began reading it, I had no idea
it was book 2 of a series. I had no trouble (for the most part) understanding
what was going on.
