Some authors may get their own page when necessary. LaHaye, Tim and Jerry B. Jenkins Left Behind Series. I heard all the "hype" about this series when it came out, and as a "Born Again Christian", I finally decided to check it out. I did not have my hopes up, for I've never been a fan of Religious fiction. However, the first book really hooked me, and after I finished reading it, I purchased the next one in the set, and the next one and so on, until I had purchased all that were available, and read each one. Then I eagerly awaited the publication of the remaining books, purchasing them just as soon as they became available. My wife also began reading them, and I have read them all a second time, except the last one which I didn't like too much for some reason. These books are written from the point of view of what earth is going to be like during the "Tribulation", the 7 years of judgment that will happen just before the return of Christ to earth. You don't have to be a Christian to enjoy these books. I find them very interesting, and entertaining, though some of the books can be slow moving at times, they are still good.
