Genealogy Subscriptions

Home > Genealogy - Store > Subscriptions

There is free genealogy information all over the Internet, but it is "hit and miss" as to what you will find, and in what format. There are several "pay sites" that offer annual (or quarterly) subscriptions for access to a huge collection of original genealogical research material including census records, passenger lists, military records, and so forth. I've compiled a list of several such subscriptions that I am  affiliated with, primarily with Ancestry.com and Genealogy.com, two of the best Internet based genealogy services. Check out the listings below. Also refer to my Recommendations page for my personal commentary on various Genealogy Pay sites and services.

The indexes are not complete for all census years, but they are available for 1790 through 1860, and also for 1920 and 1930. Others are added periodically. I am a member and I use these databases nearly every day.
