Katie Watson was listed as the mother of Snowden Carroll on his Death Certificate. His father was Franklin M. Carroll (1845-aft 1900). However, Snowden's brother Isham's Death Certificate lists his mother as Katie Daniels. The Carrolls lived in the Delco community, same as my Watsons. It is also noteworthy that Franklin M. Carroll's wife on the 1870, 1880 and 1900 census was not named Katie or similar. Mr. Carroll was associated with my ancestor Cornelius Davis (whose granddaughter is Mary C. Davis Watson listed below).

South Carolina My Watsons moved to Marion County in the early 1900's and aren't related to the other Watsons who were already there, however I'm also interested in those other Watsons because of the common surname and because many of them intermarried into my other lines from the region.
