What's New on the Wright pages?
26 Aug 2010 - All Wright updates completed. I may have other stuff to add later, but for now I'm finished transferring all my Wright data to the new Genealogy Database. Accordingly, I have removed the old static Wright pages, which were horribly out of date anyway.
12 Aug 2010 - A new book is available: Wright Census Records 1790-1880 Western North Carolina.
12 Aug 2010 - I have almost completed a thorough study of the Wrights in Western North Carolina through 1880. I did this research to complement the above book. I researched every Wright listed on those census records, and combined that with original marriage records and death certificates to try to document as many families as possible. I am sure there is much data missing, but what I have done is a real good start. I didn't have easy access to other records that would fill in the gaps, such as deeds, court minutes, estates, wills, family bibles, etc. Those can be added in later as I find them, or they are shared with me. 22 Apr 2010 - Redesigned entire website. Moved much of my data to a database format which is much easier to maintain than the static pages I was using in the past. I'll be phasing out the old style pages over time.
