I get a lot of visitors to this website. I try to keep track of how many. Some of you may be interested in reading these statistics. In 2003 I was excited to get over a million hits, but in 2004 I got over 2 million! What a surprise! The same happened in 2005.

The table below shows total hits by year for each section. For example, the total hits for Baker includes all page hits in the Baker section of my website. Smaller sections usually get fewer hits. Large sections such as my Hensley pages get a lot of hits each month, often surpassing 10,000 hits per month! If only I had a dollar for each one! <g> 

Explanation:

• Total Hits includes all page activity, even 404 not found errors.
• Page views represent each time a page is looked at.
• Visitor Sessions represent the number of users who visited my pages (includes return visitors.)
• Unique visitors are the actual number of different people who visited my pages. This number isn't entirely accurate for it is tallied monthly, but I've totaled it here for the entire year with no attempt to compare uniqueness throughout the year. My average unique visitors for 2005 is 14,110 per month.

* The summary totals (excluding the "Total Hits") for 2005 are off somewhat as I lost the March and December reports. I estimated the totals for those months based on typical usage.

* The surname sections are off by one month for I lost the January WebLog. I didn't attempt to estimate those.
