20 Mar 2010 through 8 May 2010 - Redesigned the home page and all of the main pages. I've also begun transferring my data pages over to a TNG site. "TNG" stands for "The Next Generation of Genealogy Site building" and it is a wonderful format for presenting your genealogy to the world. It is much more efficient than my old method of creating static web pages for each family. It will take awhile before I get all my data over to the new format, but I'll do it one surname at a time. Here is what I have so far.
In the meantime most of my "old" pages are still here and accessible though the names may have changed slightly. Those pages will be removed over time as I transfer those families into the new database format. I know the old pages were what made my site unique among genealogy sites, but there were 2600 of them and I just wasn't able to keep them up to date. The site was too large and unwieldy for one person to maintain! With the new format I'll be able to get updates online very quickly and easily.
