My most recent Crawford ancestor is Hepsabeth Crawford (1752-1820s) who married Osborne Lane (1750s-1840) in Marion District, South Carolina. Hepsabeth is a proven child of James Crawford (d 1753) and Kesiah Saunders.
I have not been able to identify James's parents. There were several Crawford families in Marion Co., SC and they all appear to be related to one another.
