HAZEL SAWYER VIOLETTE
   Hazel Sawyer Violette, 93, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2017, at Baptist Huntington Hospital in Huntington, TN. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Richardson Funeral Home of Marion. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 24, from 5:00-8:00 PM at Richardson Funeral Home and again one hour prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 am at the funeral home.
   Mrs. Violette was born in Marion, a daughter of the late Willie Sawyer and Essie Campbell Sawyer. She is also preceded in death by brothers, Pierce Sawyer and Buddy Sawyer.
   Surviving are her sons, Johnny Cox of South Carolina, Larry Cox (Cindy) of Franklin, TN; a sister, Mary Waller of Clinton, NC; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
