Morris Hensley was born ca 1807 in KY. He was found on the 1830 Hardin Co, KY census with just himself and a wife (Lydia), with no children, so they probably had just married. During the 1830's they moved to neighboring Breckinridge Co, KY, and were listed there on the 1840 and 1850 census. Lydia apparently died in the 1850's, and Morris had remarried by 1860 to Sarah (c1809). There were two "Daily" children with them, who might be Sarah's from a previous marriage. They were listed on the 1860 Breckinridge Co, KY census.
For some reason, in 1850 Morris was listed as "Manerva" Hensley. In 1860 he was "M." Hensley. But in 1830 and 1840 it was "Morris" and "Morrus".
