Brunswick Co., NC created 1764 from New Hanover and Bladen

∙ Cornelius Davis (c1805-aft 1890) and Tabitha Jones of Brunswick and Columbus Co., NC.

∙ Grace Davis (bef 1743-aft 1792) of Brunswick Co., NC.

∙ John Davis, Esq. (c1705-1765) and 1) Ann Parris and 2) Rebecca Moore of Berkeley Co., SC, New Hanover and Brunswick Co., NC. John Davis owned Grace Davis and freed her in 1764.

∙ Richard Davis (bef 1764-aft 1830) of Brunswick and Columbus Co., NC.

Columbus Co., NC created 1808 from Brunswick and Bladen.

∙ Note: Some of present Ransom Township, where my Davis’s lived, was part of Brunswick Co., NC, North West District, until 1877 when annexed to Columbus.
