4 Dec 2013 - Refreshed all pages. I have made several updates to other Davis families in Graham County, North Carolina (there were a few there who aren't related to mine). I've also done a few in Blount Co., TN, but those are far from complete. This more or less completes my work on the Davis family for now.

21 Oct 2013 - Refreshed all pages. I have made several updates to the Jacob Davis and Susanna Miller family. I have put in all documentation that I have available for them and have expanded various branches of the family through 1940 where possible. This completes my work on the William Davis and Frances Carpenter family for now. I need to do a little work on the other Davis families in Graham County, North Carolina (there were a few there who aren't related to mine).

7 Aug 2013 - Refreshed all pages. I have made several updates to the Jacob Davis and Susanna Miller family. I have put in all documentation that I have available for them and have expanded various branches of the family through 1940 where possible. This is a continuation of the update from last month. More to come on his line as I keep working on it.

9 Jul 2013 - Refreshed all pages. I have made numerous updates to the William Davis and Frances Carpenter family. I have put in all documentation that I have available for them. This is a continuation of the update from 31 May. I have now completed the family of Thomas Davis (son of William), and am in progress with Jacob Davis's descendants. More to come on his line as I keep working on it.

31 May 2013 - Refreshed all pages. I have made numerous updates to the William Davis and Frances Carpenter family. I have put in all documentation that I have available for them. I am not quite finished with sons Jacob and Thomas, so there will be more updates later. The two biggest changes are that I attempted to trace all descendants of William's through at least 1900, with some success. The other big change is that I found estate records for William Davis that had not been seen before as they were filed in Graham County where he never lived. Three of his children lived there, and some grandchildren, so that is probably why it got filed there. They contained some wonderful records.

1 May 2013 - Completed the updates to the Davis families in western North Carolina. I now have a database entry for every Davis individual and family who was listed on the census records in my counties of interest through 1860 (some counties through 1880 or 1900). In some cases the census record is all I have, but in other cases I was able to find marriage records, death certificates, etc.

5 Apr 2013 - Made major updates to Davis families in Buncombe (incomplete), Haywood, Jackson (incomplete) and Macon (incomplete) counties.

12 Mar 2013 - Completed the updates to the Davis families in Yancey, Mitchell and Avery Counties. Every Davis family in the area from 1850 through 1900 is as well documented as I can get them with the sources I have available.

3 Mar 2013 - Made major updates to Davis families in Burke, Yancey and Mitchell Counties. (Not quite finished).

6 Dec 2012 - Made major updates to Davis families in Alleghany, Ashe, Burke, Caldwell, Cherokee, Clay, McDowell, Watauga and Wilkes Counties.
